When you’ve fully explored the trails, felt the calm mist of the waterfalls on your face, and climbed the seemingly hundreds of stairs that it takes to get to the tops of the waterfalls, you’ll be well-ready for a little leisure. And for that, there’s fishing.
Near the entrance to Bushkill Falls are the “Twin Lakes”, two small lakes where visitors can paddle boat, enjoy the shoreline, and fish. A Pennsylvania fishing license is not required, but a permit is. These can be easily acquired from the Boat House or main store at Bushkill Falls. Often caught here are bass, bluegill and pumpkinseed sunfish.
You’ll need to either bring your own fishing gear, or you can rent some onsite for a reasonable price for the day.
