The Cabins at Togwotee Mountain Lodge let you drive your car right to your doorstep and then enter your own, private cabin. Each cabin is 400 square feet and includes amenities such as two queen beds, one sleeper sofa, mini-fridge, stovetop, microwave, pots and pans, and coffee maker. A great perk of staying a Togwotee Mountain Lodge proximity to Yellowstone and Grand Teton national park (not to mention, Jackson Hole is only a 45-minute drive). These parks are close enough to make a day trip out of it. With so much beauty and grandeur nearby, take advantage of the adventures at hand.

Summer activities at Togwotee include everything from hiking to horseback riding to adventuring on the back of a UTV. No matter your choice of adventure, with a backdrop as beautiful as Yellowstone or Grand Teton National Park, it’s sure to be the perfect escape from “real” life.

Take a Hike! Literally…

Take in the Tetons.

From the front door of your cabin at Togwotee Mountain Lodge, you’re within walking distance of many beautiful hikes. With so many hikes to choose from, you can find the one that’s just right for you. There’s the Angle Meadow Loop, which takes you on an easy hike through meadows, which are often dotted with colorful wildflowers.

For picturesque mountain views, hike up the Blackrock Creek Trail, a 3.5mile loop trail that passes “photograph hill.” In addition to these nearby trails, avid hikers can choose from a variety of hikes through Grand Teton National Park.

Another way to take in the stunning scenery of Grand Teton is from the back of a horse. Visitors can sign-up at the stables behind Togwotee Mountain Lodge for one or two-hour horseback trail rides. Guides will provide everything you need. All you need to bring is your sense of adventure.

Disc Golfing… Watch Out for That Tree!

Another summer activity for visitors to Togwotee includes disc golf. The short course includes 9 baskets with alternate tee shots, making it a full 18 hole course.

The best part of this disc golf course is it’s welcoming to beginners and yet challenging enough for those who are experienced players. Play is free and discs can be rented at the front desk. No need to bring your own.
