Day 1: Settle In

After you arrive in Lake Tahoe and get to Zephyr Cove Resort, it’s time to settle in. The first thing to do after you arrive is take a deep breath. Now, you’re on vacation. Head into Zephyr Cove Resort, get checked in, and head to your room or private cabin. Once you’ve arrived at your room, take your time to get unpacked and then head out to explore the grounds.

Zephyr Cove Resort is home to a number of amenities to explore. At the resort, you’ll find on-site dining, a gift shop, an outdoor bar and grille, beach access, and pet-friendly rooms. No matter what time of year you visit, you’ll be near to fun activities.

Grab a Drink at Sunset Bar & Grille

After you’ve settled into your room and explored the grounds of Zephyr Cove Resort, head over to the Sunset Bar & Grille for a drink and a bite to eat. Choose just the right setting for you: inside, outside on the deck, or under an umbrella on the beach.

Day 2: Relaxing Fun in the Sun

On your first full day in Lake Tahoe, you’re going to get a full day of fun in the sun. But, don’t forget that you’re on vacation. This is your time to sleep in, enjoy some time off, and be with nature.

Settle in the Sand with a Good Book

Zephyr Cove Resort is just a few minutes’ walk to the beach. After breakfast, get changed into your bathing suit, grab your book, and head down to the beach. At the beach, you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Stake out your spot and settle in with your toes in the sand to spend a day in the sun. If you get too hot, head on down to the shore and take a dip in the refreshing water of Lake Tahoe.

Sunset Dinner Cruise

After a day in the sun, head back to your room for a shower and get dressed up in your fancy clothes to get ready for a sunset dinner cruise. Board the M.S. Dixie II, an authentic paddlewheeler, and set sail. As you sail around Lake Tahoe, you’ll get incredible views of the sunset while dining on local cuisine, listening to live music, and sipping on signature cocktails.

Day 3: Adrenaline-Pumping Boating and Skiing

On your second full day at Lake Tahoe, it’s time to get your adrenaline pumping. From Zephyr Cove Resort, you’re just a short walk from the marina where you can rent speed boats and water toys. Before you head down to the marina, be sure to stop into the gift shop and pick up some snacks for your day on the water.

Rent a Powerboat

At the marina, you can choose the powerboat and water toys that suit your adventure style. You can choose from 21- to 24-foot open bow, inboard/outboard Sea Ray ski boats. Before you leave the marina, be sure to grab a wakeboard, wake surfboard, kneeboard, tubes, or water skis.

Once you’ve got everything you need, it’s time to hit the water and enjoy a day on the lake filled with fun and laughter.

Day 4: Day of Departure

Sadly, all good things come to an end. After two full days of fun in the sun, it’s time to depart Zephyr Cove Resort. Enjoy your last morning by sleeping in and packing up slowly. Once you’re ready to leave your room, head on out for some food.

Get ready for a travel day by filling your belly. Head down to the Zephyr Cove Restaurant to enjoy a quiet, relaxing brunch.
