Alaska Cabin Night Dinner Theatre

Denali National Park and Preserve, AK

Alaska is not necessarily known for its live dinner theater, but that’s not to say it’s not excellent, hilarious, charming, and amazing. Because it is. Listen—this isn’t broadway. It’s better. It’s a participation-driven, true-to-life historical retelling of early 1900s Alaskan adventures, served with hearty, delicious food in portions that prepare you winter. And it’s put on by talented actors who are characters in and of themselves, who both sing, dance, tell stories, and serve your meals.

There are two shows daily, one at 5pm and one at 7:30pm. The experience is a group one—the meals are served family style at picnic tables, which is a great way to meet fellow visitors and make some fast friends. Served for dinner is salmon, ribs, potatoes, biscuits, corn, and delicious blueberry cobbler for dessert.

The music, songs, and acting is lively and fun. You get a chance to be up close and personal with the actors as they also act as servers, which makes for a cool, intimate experience with the show.
